Follow me on my journey through my course "PED3119 Integrating Technology across the Curriculum Intermediate/Senior".In this course I hope to learn ways I can incorporate technology into my lessons and have it in my future classrooms.
A little about ME!
Well I graduated in May 2009 from St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. I obtained a Bachelor of Arts with a major in English and a minor in Sociology. My two teachables are English and History. I am very excited to teach English, and was fortunate to do so in my first practicum and I absolutely loved it. However, I am a little weary over teaching History. I did take a couple classes in University and some courses in High School, but I wouldn't say it is my most comfortable subject area. I hoping that through this class I can learn new and engaging ways of bringing technology into my classroom.
Essentially, I put this video on my introductory page because I believe in what Taylor Mali has to say. He sums up in an emotionally driven way the perfect reasoning and the immense importance teachers are to children and society.
